La Chaparole has been furnished to a very high standard and offers spacious and comfortable accommodation on two floors. There are 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms/shower-rooms, making it ideal for a large group of family or friends.

The accommodation on the ground floor comprises:

• A large, double height living room, with a beamed sloping ceiling and flagstone floors, and a Provençale stone open fireplace. The living room is comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs. French doors lead to a covered terrace with views of the Luberon hills.
• TV room (with 37" flat screen TV).
• Dining room with flagstone floors, and French doors leading to the terrace.
• Large, very well equipped kitchen (including American fridge freezer, expresso machine, and integrated stereo system) with a further dining area, and a door leading to a dining terrace with barbecue.
• Double/twin bedroom (bed 1.80m or 2 x 0.90m), with French doors to the terrace, ensuite bathroom and WC.
• Two further double/twin bedrooms (bed 1.80m or 2 x 0.90m).
• Separate shower room, with WC.
• Separate utility area with a washing machine and dryer.

On the first floor:

• Master double bedroom (bed 1.80m or 2 x 0.90m), with doors to a private covered terrace with views of the Luberon hills, ensuite bathroom and WC.
• Double/twin bedroom (bed 1.80m or 2 x 0.90m), ensuite bathroom and WC.

There is also an annex with a double/twin bedroom (1.80m or 2 x 0.90m), and ensuite shower room with separate WC.

A baby cot and high chair are available in the house.

La Chaparole has a large landscaped garden, of around 6,000 square metres. There is a lawn where children can play, and the garden and terrace provide ample space for outdoor dining, with a gas barbecue provided for guests’ use. There is also a boules court, and table tennis.

The 13m x 6m heated pool (depth 1.2m at shallow end and 2.50m at deep end) is a key feature of the beautiful grounds. (Please note that heating the pool is at the extra cost of €320 per week). The pool has been fitted with an automatic shutter in compliance with French pool safety legislation, making it as safe as possible for young children. The pool side is comfortably equipped with loungers and shaded by a "tonnelle".

There is a telephone available at La Chaparole (calls are charged separately), and a fax machine. There is Wi-Fi broadband and satellite television.

La Chaparole has automatic gates, an entry phone and an alarm, and has car parking for 4 cars.

Although there are a few steps down to the pool and to the house from the car park area, the ground floor bedrooms and living area and outdoor terraces are all on one level and would be ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs.

An excellent service is provided by the off-site caretaker. At extra cost, meals can be prepared and delivered (or a cook supplied). Extra cleaning and baby sitting can also be organised, again at extra cost.
